.......... embedded in the hair of Paddy's right ear?  A giant slug.  YUK!!!!!  I very nearly threw up.  He has the habit of lying under against the pots on the patio and the slug must have come from there.  He couldn't understand why I was making such a fuss.

When the grass is damp, we (well, I mean Buddy!) often pick up little ones. They are hard to remove without turning them into a squishy goo. I have found that a wide toothed comb gets them out with the least goo.
