Meg - Four Paws golden girl has left the building
« on: December 02, 2007, 05:26:49 PM »
She's age 2y 2mo, golden, spayed, called Meg.

Meg is a very sweet girl. She needs ongoing training as she hasn't had a good start to her life. She may be suitable to live with older children (14+) as to begin with she needs consistent training. She has lived with children, so visiting children will be fine. She gets on with other dogs, gets on with my cats but is very curious about them. She could do with losing a little weight. She needs some lead work as she currently pulls like a trojan.

We are looking for an experienced home where the owners will work with her on the training she needs, perhaps with experience of cocker spaniels. With the right positive training and in a home where can flourish she will make a lovely companion.

And the all important first picture..

She is currently in foster in South Wales and it would be great to get her into her new home in time for Santa Paws...

Meant to add, she also pulls like a Trojan so needs a bit of lead work.. The poor girl had ended up in her owners garage and really needs someone who can train and love her  :luv:

Unfortunately we were unable to follow this lovely lady up due to no children - and we already have one Meg in the house - couldn't cope with two (OK - so the other is hooman daughter, I'd say human but not sure now she's 13!)

Shame, 'cause she is gorgeous... :luv:

She does get on with children but I feel that it would be better to rehome to a non-child household --- its more about consistent ongoing training than anything.

She really is a lovely sweet girl who just needs her forever home as she's been let down too many times in her short life. I hope she can get a new home quickly as it would be far better for her really.

Do you have an age range for children where it might be possible ie over 16s? depending on the family concerned of course  ;)

She's staying with PennyB at the moment so send her a message. She is currently fostered with Penny's two dogs and her cats.

I would have thought one dog and a dog friendly cat would be ok,good luck if you decide to enquire.

Penny will be able to give you a good update on her and how she is coming along,

Em x
