There's another very good book on Cockers, called The Merry Cocker by Judy de Casenbroot.  It's out of print now & has been for quite a long time, but if you can get your hands on a copy it's well worth investing in.

Yes this is a lovely book written with such affection for Cockers & with some nice literary quotes/verses etc. Copies do occasionally crop up on Ebay & I've seen one now & again on the second hand book stalls at shows (where I bought my copy)

I also ordered this from Amazon (way back at the beginning of October) and I've just heard mine is now on it's way too. :D

I'd not heard of the Merry Cocker book before...... another one for me to keep my beady eye out for now. :D

I'd also not heard of the Merry Cocker before, but from the description it sounds well worth reading, so I'll definitely be looking out for it. Thanks for mentioning it, Cinders  :wink:
