No, my OH is not keen on dogs  :'(.  However, as others have said, the fact that he has agreed to us having Tilly when he'd really much rather not, speaks volumes about his wish to make us happy.  If pressed he will say that Tilly is "not bad....for a dog" and he would never see her neglected, but she is very much mine and Emily's responsibility.  Emily claims she once heard her Dad call Tilly "darling", but he denies this  :005: :005:  He never even calls ME that, let along our Tills.... ::) so I think this may be wishful thinking on her part.  He does like it when people praise Tilly though (I can see his chest swelling with pride  :lol2:) and she is a very, very good little girl.  If she were naughty I think he would want her gone  :'(

Aye, Chloe is like that.  When Mike goes away, she spends the first 2 nights up and down stairs looking for him ::)

Ahh poor Chloe  :luv:  looking forward to meeting her soon  ;)

My DH is definitely madly in love with Pippa! He's as soft as clarts with her and she knows it the little madam!  :lol2:
It's me who does the grooming, vet and most of the walking etc but he'll feed her, clean up after her, change her water.
I think (hope) she loves us equally!
She really is our "fur baby"!! :luv:

Nah he dont give a damn, when she was in labour he rubbed her tummy, didnt even do that with me :'( when the pups were born he took a whole week off work and slept downstairs, just incase Lucy needed anything and to make sure they were all warm and safe, when he went back to work and i was home with them he rang me every few hours, just checking mums okay (he meant the dog, Not me!) and pups are ok?....... And he cried when the puppies went (bless) now he worries that Lucy is lonely, getting fat, or she's loosing weight, and has even took her out in the car!!!!!!

Yet all he does is moan about her :005:  :005:  :005:

My OH never stops moaning about him, calls him my effing dog and then snuggles up to him on the sofa when I'm not around.
So I think he does but is too manly to admit it.

Steve was dead set against getting Tilly, so i saved up for her told him he would not have to pay for anything to do with her, wouldn't have to do anything to her, she would be totally mine and daughters responsibility, when we went to look at the litter he walked away saying don't like the colour much, i told him she's different and anyway was nothing to do with him, and now he loves her to bits, Tilly wasn't going to be allowed upstairs at first but who took her up, need i say, Tilly was not going to be allowed on the bed, where does Tilly sleep now, on the bed, when i went away and left them together who came home early because he didn't like to think of her on her own, men!!! ;)
