hi all.been off for a while,, hope you are all well :wink: well,jasper had his operation weds,you might remember i told you he had a slipping patella,well,it had completely worn away,so now he,s had a pin,and plastic plate in there to hold it all in,the vet was fantastic,,poor jasper has been in so much pain,but all the customers have helped soothe it away cockers have such a ,,i feel sorry for myself face,,how can you refuse a cuddle and stroke,,they have been signing his bandage,,he,s a regular celeb here ,,lol,the vets going to think we are mad the vet did say he hadn,t seen it much in cockers,more so in staffs and westies,,i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem,,glad to be back,,

Hi Ziggy - I've just had a look at Jasper in the gallery - God love him  

Isn't this the little boy who you were having some problems with in the shop that one vet put down to behavioural  :?   If it is, didn't you get a second opinion - thank goodness for that.  The little mite must have been in such discomfort bless him.

Ignore my wittering if it is not the same little boy

Hope he gets well very soon.

 louise,yes he,s the same dog,he,s much better now,,i know i felt guilty too,now i know what was wrong with him,he,s very much on the mend now,off to the vets at 5 to get the bandage off and check the progress of the op,, :wink:

Hi,

I hope that he get's well soon. Yes, our Joris has pattelar luxation on both his knees. In a very bad way  :cry:  But unfortunally he can't be operated because of his heart condition (cardiomyopathy). Very often one of his knees are blocking.

Hope you are fully recovered soon, wee doggy, but meanwhile, make the most of all the extra love and attention  :wink: Hope you're getting lots of your favourite treats (am sure you're being very well looked after!!!!)

yes, it's sad, because I have heard that an op can do such a great miracle. But I'm glad that your boy is helped.
