My nephew has a dog called Norman. A friend called their tortoise Colin.

I don't think John, James, Richard, Keith, Alan, Francis or Michael really work for a dog.
No ladies names suggested yet I see!!
Would you call your dog Sharon, Tracey or Barbara?

How about Margaret for a girl  ;) or maybe Brenda or Denise

Are you trying to get all of my family names in on this EmmaA??! My mum is Margaret  :005:

I have no problem with the name for a human just doesn't seem right for a dog  ph34r
I will add in my Mum's name as it would be totally unsuitable to call a dog Lyn  :005:

There used to be 2 blue roan cocker brothers lived at the back of us called Daniel & Edward.  There was a boxer in the Vets once when I was there called Ralph.  There is a jack russell lives round the corner called Barbara.  There used to be a mongrel up the road called Betty and a scottie called Angus.  All of them suited their names.

Just going of the human name theme for a minute, met a lady a couple of weeks ago who is getting a cocker puppy and calling it Sunshine.  Can't say I'm keen on that.

People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.
