Thank goodness he is safe now, I hope his forever home is just around the corner and that he goes from strength to strength.  :luv: :luv: :luv:

OMG this is so distressing! I am furious and crying at that poor little boy's face!

How could these people look out of their windows and see Benji starving to death, day after day? >:D >:D >:D

Their punishment should be very severe (I daren't say what I would do to them , but it wouldn't be pretty and I would have no qualms about it whatsoever).

Thank god, he is safe now. I hope he is surrounded by love for the rest of his life :luv:

If he can't be rehomed in Germany there's no reason why he can't be microchipped, vaccinated against rabies, blood tested, and issued with a Pet's Passport.  This would take six months, and if it is possible I'd be willing to collect him for you.

I think we all feel deeply for this poor little man but I can see how much more poignant it must be for you having lost your own much loved golden Benji so recently.   :'( :'(

Here's our miracle boy with his foster mum in the garden today:

Amazing when you consider he's only been in Germany since Wednesday!

If he can't be rehomed in Germany there's no reason why he can't be microchipped, vaccinated against rabies, blood tested, and issued with a Pet's Passport.  This would take six months, and if it is possible I'd be willing to collect him for you.

Benji received all the necessary vaccinations (rabies included) last Tuesday before he left France for Germany.

Robbie34 you had a Benji too, didn't you?

Yes, I lost Benjie in 1998 when he was just sixteen.  Benji looks very much like him.

I'm off to France with Charley on Tuesday.

As I mentioned in my previous post, if a permanent home can't be found in Germany for Benji, I am willing to travel there and collect him for Dog22.  Where is he in Germany?

This is Benjie when he was about six.

Where is he in Germany?

He's in Unna (northern Germany).
