What a terrible day you have had, at least Tia seems to have been one very lucky girl and i hope she continues to make a full recovery.  Hope you are being extra nice to your oh, he must be feeling terrible.

So sorry, this happened to our poodle years ago. She went out to greet my Dad when he came home from work but went into the road and got hit by a car. Luckily she was dazed more than anything. She couldn't walk properly for a day or two, but went on to make a full recovery without so much as a broken bone anywhere. She was really lucky.

How dreadful, and what a shock for you.  This sort of thing can happen so easily and it's almost impossible to prevent.

Hope she is getting better and you are all OK and getting over the shock.

Oh god Fiona. My heart plummeted to my feet when I saw this and I burst into tears! Thats my worst nightmare. Can barely imagine how you and Stuart are feeling. Tia must have a hairy black guardian angel watching over her for you.  :'( Lets hope she is back to normal very soon xxx

What Jo said  :luv: I was in tears last night when I read your first text, I really feared the worst. I am so happy that Tia is gonna be ok and I hope that hairy black guardian angel is watching over you too, and that all your pain and discomfort will soon be a thing of the past. Poor OH, Tia and you. I lived have in dread of this for so long, and still get nervous around roads. I have witnessed it twice, happening to the most well behaved dogs and caring owners who were just not familiar with the road. I am so relieved she is better.
