She's doing well, will have a checkup tomorrow to make sure her leg is mending, in case she needs a support on it.
The police phoned today to ask how she is, as the elderly couple who hit her were concerned about her apparently. The constable said there is no blame on either part, as it was merely an accident, she was off lead in a park and not a street, and it was just unfortunate she ran out, the driver couldn't avoid her.
It was only when I spoke to the police that I realised we could have been held responsible, but they said there would be no repercussions, thankfully.
I took Duggie to the same park today and was a nervous wreck, although we stayed well away from any gates, but I was panicking even being there, but hopefully I will calm down a bit once I've been back a few times.
