I used to have a golden hamster called Harry. He was the sweetest natured hamster ever.
I used to take him out in my top pocket and he'd sit and peak out at the world.

I had 6 russian hamsters too, I couldn't tell them apart really, so they were just called 'the ruskies'.

And our 1st cocker was called Dusty. I never really liked the name, but that was her name when we rescued her.
Love from Karen and Livvy

Woody is short for "Braidwood" which is my father's middle name.  As I refuse point-blank ever to have children, calling our new dog Woody seemed the next best thing and thankfully my father didn't mind!!!   :P

Our second favourite name was Alfie (after my husband's grandfather).

Girls names: we liked Lucy and Honey (after Tupelo Honey - my fave song by Van Morrison).

Next time we're going to call our little boy ... now no nicking this because it's genius .... Maximus Doggamus Son Of A Bitch .... (Russell Crowe eat your heart out!!!) which will no doubt be shortened to Max. We nearly went with that this time but apparently Max is one of the most popular names for dogs and we didn't want to be common!!!   Maybe by the time we replace Woody (which I don't even want to think about :( ) Max will be less popular ....
