Oh no, I'm so so sorry. So glad you got 2 of them back and keeping everything crossed your other girlie turns up safe and sound. What an awful thing to happen, my Weimaraner always barks lots if anyone comes onto the drive (including my OH when he comes home). So I always know instantly if anyone is around and if I'm not at home they're not in the garden but the cocker is usually quiet so I can see how easy it would be for someone to nick one..

Really hope she's found very soon :-* :-*

Really good news, while we were all out searching for her we were approached by some young children who informed us that some teenagers had a dog that didn't belong to them down by a local canal. We eventually spotted them and indeed they had our dog which was tied by a piece of rope to a tree, they ran away when we approached them. She looked so scared and frightened but obvoiusly so overjoyed to see us. We took her staight to our vet to have her checked over and luckily she is okay other than very cold and very hungry. We don't know were she spent the night or if these teenagers are the one's that took her but later on we are going back to were the young children were who informed us to see if we can get names of the older lads. The local police, vets and wardens have all been notified of her return and I intend to inform our local papers to see if they will give it a mention. Hopefully someone somewere will know them. I have no idea what their intentions were when they took the dogs but can only assume the worse. Many thanks for everyone's kind words of comfort and I for one will certainly be reinforcing the security to our back garden. This has been an experience I hope no one will ever have to go through as your mind starts to think the worse as time goes on. Once again many thanks Karen x
