Poor boys, I'm surprised the rescue centre didn't clean out their ears, and generally make them comfortable.
Good luck at the vets, will they be getting blood tests?
I suspect Jarvis will have a blood test & possibly a urine test.
He has a few lumps, bumps & warts which is not unusual for a 10 year old dog but he has a double-bump lump (a single mass with 2 lobes?) on his bum that I'm not very happy about and I'm also concerened about his weight.
At the moment Dale looks like a walking coffee table which is soley down to the amount of food he was given at the rescue kennels, I can only assume Jarvis was given the same amount of food but he is just about the perfect body shape for a cocker. Either he has been giving up some of his food to Dale or his metabolism is burning calories at quite a high rate.
To give you some idea of how much food they were getting, they were fed once a day with a portion that would easily fill a 1 litre measuring jug - Science Diet I think.
I have them on a new regiem now, they eat twice a day and their total daily intake is about 1/3 of what they had before, althoug Jarv's portion will be upped if he needs it.
