it was hilarious - I'd have you as a judge again just to give me laughter therapy

There are SO many lovely pics so I'd just like to say....... Eeeeek help me!!!!!!!

Here is my suggestions for judging:

1. Have glass of wine. Have paper and pen ready

2. While enjoying above mentioned wine, print out all the photos.

3. Have another glass(es) while waiting for printer.

4. Hang all printed pics on wall.

5. See step one.

6. Put on a blindfold and throw darts at pics. Remove pic as dart hits and place in order: ie; first pic hit is First place, second hit is 2nd...(alternate method, you can do in reverse order)

7. Be sure to return to wine glass and paper and pen to write down your selections so that when you wake up in the morning you will remember your judging order to submit. Otherwise you will have to repeat the whole process.

 
 

 

Great idea but printer is bust and the only wall I could pin them too is above the dogs bed and as my 'shot' isn't that great  Dave and Normski have asked me not to use your method. I am applying the wine though.. but it's not helping. THREE hours on and I've managed to 'short list' 2.5 classes to re-tackle when I've slept on it and I still want to kill myself and award every single dog/photo a 1st place prize in my last will & testament......... Now, where did I put Tom's easter eggs, wine is running out....

You've no idea how lucky you were to get mine 2 whole days before the deadline... think that's the first time that's ever happened in my life... although it was probably only the pressure from the swots that kicked me into gear

ETA: Hope you don't have the problem I usually get where at least one judge only judges the first page of entries and I have to kindly ask whether they looked at all the pages....

I think you should start naming names and we can all *persuade* the remaining judges to get their votes in

I noticed I was having that problem so I started looking at the last page first.... then started some in the middle, then totally confused myself.
