So very sorry to hear that you have lost little Ellie  :'(, my thoughts are with you at this unhappy time.  Give yourself some time out and then maybe you can speak to your mum about how you feel later on.  She must be a dog lover too and will be feeling terrible with guilt over the hurt and sadness she has caused you but I can well understand your anger towards her, I would probably feel the same.

So sorry to hear about Ellie, you must be devastated.

I know that you must be angry with your mum at the moment, but i cannot begin to think how she must feel about a moment of carelessness - please don't let it drive a wedge between you, I am sure you must need you mum now more than ever/
