Being a bloke ( and probably a killjoy :D ) I'm not keen on all these cutsie wutsie nicknames for dogs really - occassionally calling Jimmy "Jimbo" and Misty "Misty Moo" is about it, and I wish I didn't even go that far. :D  Jimmy did used to go under the name of Jimmy Quiff though, but the name went when the hairstyle did.

Jimmy also gets called Chewbacca by some relatives and a couple of friends call Misty ; Window Licker.

..... it did seem to work a treat with Button's recall, she came bounding over at 100mph, her little body wiggling in excitement. :D It had the opposite effect on me though, I was looking for a tree to hide behind in embarrassment. :D

other than the obvious, mr potter (harry) or just mister :

rat dog (my dad wasnt a lover of small dogs - he is now though)
flea bag ( my dad again)
poo face ( as i saw him run into his own poo one day with his nose to the ground    )
big/little man depending on brave hes being
'mummys little baby' is about the worst.

i think i call him Harold more than harry at the moment - but perhaps thats because he is always doing something he shouldnt ;)

xx my working cocker works very hard at being a lap dog xx

Molly got called Hen when she was little, ( it's kind of a Scottish thing!)
Then she became 'The Hen' ... things like 'come here Hen', or 'where's the Hen?'

We had to stop this however because the little boy next door ..who loved Molly...grew up thinking Hen's were dogs. Try explainig that at story time in nursery!
Now she's just

Poppet
Puppy
Molleena
Sweet heart
Mollsy
Mollycoddle
Sweet pea

Although she will answer to anything if you say it nicely enough!
