Thank you all so much - he was our first cocker, adopted from the RSPCA 8 years ago  :luv: He was a 'challenging' dog to live with and turned our world upside down when he arrived, as he has done again now he's gone  :'( He lived life to the full, and if only we could approach life the same way he did - full of gusto and excitement at going out, coming home, or just a trip in the car  :luv:
Our only consolation is that he spent his last week with us 24/7, in a place he loved  :luv:

God how I feel for you! I can so remember the agony and emptiness, the gut wrenching ache...remember Boysie has just gone back to being unborn.....he was having a wonderful time till the very end...thats all any of us could wish for.....

When the moment is right maybe think to rehome one of the poor souls featured on this site and I am sure Boysie wth his mates ,up there, will smile that Cocker smile and wag that Cocker wag and bound away into the clouds happy to know another sad and lonely spaniel has been saved!

So sad for you Maria. My heart goes out to you.  :'( Thank goodness we can do this last kindness for our beloved dogs and save them unnecessary pain but it's so hard. Thinking of you.
