My dogs have their own sofa in the kitchen. Occasionally we are allowed to sit on it  :005: They are not allowed in the sitting room during the day, but when we go through of an evening I'm afraid we like to cuddle up with our doggies. We recently bought leather sofas for just this purpose! I do try to remember throws, but to be honest, the dogs are not too dirty by evening time (it's all fallen off on the floor or the kitchen sofa which is covered with throws and vetbed).

Yup! I have two sofas. I have one, Archie has the other! He does sometimes snuggle up next to me on mine though. The removeable, pristine, silk Laura Ashley covers have been removed due to some holes appearing in the bottom of them (I blame mice) They now have tatty old covers to protect them from Archie's cushion chewing fetish. (And a large patch on the back of one cushion from when I left him unattended for 30 seconds  :shades: )

we bought fabric sofas with the intention of getting a dog. Charlie is allowed, and I have cheap ikea throws on them so he can use them :)

Yep darcey is a sofa dog she lays sleeping all day when the oh is in his office! We have a leather corner suit and she snuggles in the corner bit.

Yes, he has his own spot (ie. both chairs and my part of the sofa if I dare to get up for anything :lol2:).  Fellow COL'ers Jeff and Annie also had access to the sofa this afternoon  :005:
