Hi
Salty is fed Purina Friskies Balance dry kibble
https://www.purina.pt/conheca-purina/as-nossas-marcas/marcas-de-cao/purina-friskies
Its sometime half price in the supermarket - when I buy the big sacks.
I fill up his bowl with the recommended daily amount and he tends to eat it when he likes in portions during the day / night and doesnt scoff it all down as soon as its there by any means
He is a healthy weight (13kg) and healthy, 2.5 years (going on 3 months :005: )
But I have noticed he absolutely loves steamed green beans and peas so I have been cooking a bit more for dinner and giving him some in his dish
Is this a good idea?

My Gemma is a broccoli, carrot and cauliflower lover. Raw or cooked. Although she hates runner beans. ;)

This might be of interest - no idea about beans but there are lists online of vegetables which are suitable for dogs. I think most things are ok but there are one or two which can be harmful so its always best to check. ;)

Cooked French beans, carotene and runner beans are fine. However many dogs dislike peas. Some dried pet foods use these liberally as a protein filler. They are pretty high fibre, so maybe this can cause a few tummy problems.
