I have just come across an ad in the paper here that has a litter of cocker spaniel pups for sale. They are described as blue roan, black and red roan. Excuse my ignorance but what is a red roan? It is the first I have heard of this breeder and the website is pretty sparse. Pictures of the pups for sale and info that they are vaccinated at 6 weeks but no mention of any health checks. Can anybody tell me if they have heard of a red roan before
