stoke-on-trent gundog
« on: March 02, 2011, 12:02:09 PM »
We had a committee meeting last night of Stoke-on-Trent gundog. I have been thinking of a way to remember my dad and asked the committee if it would be okay to sponsor a Roy Mason memorial medal or shield for the veteran class at every show. As you know, my dad was besotted with my Jessica and it was him her persuaded me to show her. I thought that the veteran class would therefore be a fitting tribute and way to remember my dad. We decided on either a medal or shield to be given out to keep at every show, January and September. So, everyone please enter your "golden oldies" at our next show!  :luv:

What a lovely and very fitting way to remember your Dad - I'm sure it will be a very well supported class for you. :D
Your dog is your friend, partner & defender. You are his life, love & leader. He will be yours, faithful & true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

It is isn't it. Tally has a way to go before he's a veteran, but he has his heart set on entering this now and as soon as he's old enough he'll be there. He might even have more hair at that point too.  :shades:
