conditioning spray with no fragrance
« on: March 14, 2013, 10:54:03 AM »
Any kind of odour/fragrance makes Ozzy sneeze violently even if I spray the brush inside and brush him outside.

So I am looking for a coat/skin conditioning with no fragrance if possible.

Do you have reommendations/ideas, please.

I have Groomers Coat Conditioning with evening primrose and groom and detangle also Four Paws soft and silky but I can't use them, he runs a mile.

I'll be interested in the replies here.

Toby sneezes too, then rolls all over the carpet trying to get rid of the smell - makes the carpet smell nice but then there's none left on him.  :005:

I like K9 Competition Aloe Vera Nano Mist - it says it contains fragrance on the ingredients but it's barely discernible and doesn't seem to bother our dogs at all (no rolling around or sneezing like with some sprays we've tried). It's not cheap but a bottle lasts a long time. I buy it from Technogroom (also on Amazon from the same company): http://www.technogroom.co.uk/catalog/k9-competition-nano-mist-spray-conditioner-250ml-p-540.html

Thanks Jane S, K9 spray delivered today and I am really pleased, no sneezing.

Neon, absolutely no sneezing even when I sprayed his ears but Ozzy doesn't normally roll on the carpet after spraying but it might be worth you trying as it seems an excellent product.

Ice on Ice conditioning spray cannot be beaten in my eyes. Conditions, anti static, helps with tangles, no build up in coat, no aroma, protects the coat, great as a finishing spray. I never brush without spraying it first, during and after. ;) You can get it ready mixed or as a concentrate. If you use it a fair amount I would reccomend the concentrate. It's easily mixable with just plain water and you only need a small amount of concenate each time, so it lasts for ages. Even the amount I use. I am only on my second bottle. ;)
