Poor Pops is all I can say.
She was spayed last week, and the vets sent her home with her sides plastered in gooey antiseptic. She was too sore to do much at all about it and after months of keeping her totally knot free, she had horrendous mats up her ribs which were annoying her and were far too big to trim with scissors. I had to take a deep breath, get the clippers out and trim her whole body down. NOT what I wanted to do at all with her puppy coat, but not a lot of choice!
At least she's comfortable, which is all I really mind about.
As it was like trying to clipper an excited octopus - I swear eight legs were involved - to say it's a bad job would be a bit of an understatement..... we're going to have to go for walks under cover of darkness!
