Mammoth grooming day
« on: November 09, 2013, 03:55:58 PM »
So, it's taken about 5 hours (with regular breaks), but indie is finally looking mildly presentable and much less of a furry monster. She's a bit lopsided as I got a bit scissor happy at her front end, but I'm pleased with my efforts I think. Did her a ears a little short, and I do struggle with hocks and the back end (desperately tried to follow the sticky!).

Anyway.

Not the best pictures but I think we were both tired.

She looks great  :luv: what do you use to make her fur look so smooth and shiny?

I don't give her anything extra than her kibble. I was tempted to get some more salmon oil actually as thought it had lost a little bit! Thank you.

My two need their hair cut. I'm just waiting for a nice day as I bath them outside  :shades:

Yes, I do mine outside too, but as I live in Bulgaria there will probably be about 3ft of snow by the time I go back next month, so I think they will have to stay a pair of woolly mammoths until the spring now!  :005:

Aw Sarah that's lovely of you to say. Although I don't think it's quite to your very high standards!

Well done! She is the absolute spitting image of my puppy, Blue. He is looking like a fluffy teddy bear at 6 months, I wonder when I will have to first cut his coat? This is all new to me.  :D
