Ice On Ice V Cowboy Magic
« on: July 19, 2005, 06:13:32 PM »
A while back there was a post about knots and Kim had suggested Ice on Ice from Hub - one of the posters was going to try it..How did they get on with it? As my golden Lynwater girl is getting a bit older her coat is becoming a wee bit woolier in places and I plan to show her in veteran so no way is the coat coming off. Worst bits are the armpits - just looking for any feedback as I think I will order 'something'!!

Cheers

I Found it really good for my 13 month old cocker, I spray it on just before i go the ring with her and it helps to keep it flat as she is sticking out all over the place :) Tried it on my puppy and its really good, his back sticks out all over the place and it seemed to help.

Tilly gets very knotty armpits too, so thanks for reminding me about this  :) .  I will try to get some and report back on it.

I use the Ice on Ice after reading about it here.
I think it is great.
It makes Lotties coat lie flat and glossy, the knots are much easier to get out and it helps to keep her coat clean.

Brilliant - I;ll order some - i read the guy from Hub had a bad accident with his lorry - hope he's ok and very selfishly, that the online store is still running.. I'll get this coat looking good for the ring for next Jan when the lovely Firebird (of course Im biased!!)  will be 7!! Got to admit apart from her face looking not as deep in colour, the rest of her is still looking good and she has kept her figure through 2 pregnancies. Could do with losing a bit of weight though as could many of mine and me...

Thx guys - away to see if I can order now!!

I use Ice on Ice on Bailey as well - I use it a lot on his skirt to protect it from urine    his skirt is still long and has a very puppish texture to it - so mats very easily.  I have also found that this finishing spray makes debris so much easier to remove after a bimble through the undergrowth  :D

It is - water is the only thing allowed to be used on coats at shows but since the KC only ever coat test randomly selected CC winners in a few breeds, it's not surprising so many exhibitors ignore the rules ;)
