T-tree oil shampoo on dogs?
« on: May 12, 2006, 07:27:38 AM »
Hi, not sure if this is in the right place but do any of you use "human" tea tree oil shampoo on your dogs and if so which one? Have used successfully with kids over the years ,if you know what I mean!!! and thought this might be good for the dog too? I've read differing opinions about using human stuff for dogs and wanted to know people's personal experience. Thanks

If you want a definitive answer I'm afraid you won't get one as views differ. You can however get tea tree for pooches as the benefits are recognised. Why not go down that route?  ;)

I used a puppy tea tree shampoo :)

Personally, I found that a human shampoo led to scurf in Molo's coat, so have gone back to a special doggy one :) I now buy an anti-tangle shampoo for him, and add five drops of my own tea tree oil to each wash  ;)
