Herbie is bold
« on: November 20, 2006, 05:39:54 PM »
Had him groomed today and he was so woolly - now he is very very clipped, a bit erm ..... scalped actually.

Luckily he's not a show cocker so I am more interested in him being comfortable than stylish, and comfortable he was not - he was taking a full day to dry off after a walk!

He still looks lovely mind you but I am a bit embarrased and won't be posting a pic of him (or taking him out in daylight to public places ph34r)
Love Michele, Mikey and Herbiexx

You can't say that and then not post a piccie.  >:(

(He can't look worse than Gill's dogs did after their trip to the groomers!)

(Sorry Gill.  ph34r)

Aww Just got back from Asda, Billy you look lovely - just as bold as Herbie.

Herbie is a dog who is not quite in proportion :005:, so he has a tiny head, a long neck and barrell of a rib cage.  In actual fact now he's been cut short I think he might have to go on a bit of a diet.  Never had a fat dog in my life and he's not gonna be my first

I will get a pic of him and post it as soon as I can.  He hasn't stayed still long enough for me to get one yet.

The pics are coming honestly!! :D

I took a few last night and will post them on here a bit later.  He does look funny, like a little lamb.  He's a show x working cocker but I think he's got the worst bits of the show strain x the worst bits of the working strain :005:.

Luckily what he lacks in looks makes up for his lovely temperment and great dogonality :005:
