These people call them selfs a groomer  >:D anybody could of done that
:o Poor Millie

Maybe next time when you have to take Millie to the groomers somebody on COL could recommend a groomer.
Like the other's have said it will grow back which is a good thing, but you can also buy products that help the coat to grow alot faster!I will have a look for you 2mo i think we have a bottle somewere.

I would stay well away from who ever did Millie.

She is a very pretty girl  :luv:  :luv:

AW poor Millie  >:(    what an absolute shame.

I asked the question myself yesterday as to whether or not to clipper Skye, I think i'll give it a miss for now.
You must be devastated i know i would be.
She does however still look adorable and i'm sure it won't take long to get her looking the way she did.  ;)
Al, Cath, And not forgetting Skye xxx ;)

Oh dear - she has been scalped - but still gorgeous though!  I would just like to get Twix to the "before" stage of your pictures. I have been gradually trying to tidy her up, but she is still very very hairy!!! I think I will just need to face the fact that I will need to take her to a groomer too.

Anyone know any good groomers in the Lanark area?

Still gorgeous but it gets me so annoyed when "professional" groomers make such a hash of it!  >:D

I know exactly how you feel, we took Finn and Bella to the groomers before xmas they had been before and had no problems. When I went to get them they had been nearly all clipped, and their ears were all gone we were devastated, It is starting to come back now, it does take time, she is still lovely doesnt look to happy in the picture I bet she is feeling the cold poor girl...

When I collected Millie, I did say that she had been shaved rather than trimmed as i had requested, but as it was only the second time i have took Millie to a groomers ( she is only 20mnths now) I don't know what to ask for. The first time she was trimmed lovely but alas the groomer had closed down when I wanted her doing the second time, leaving no indication whether she had gone out of business or just gone mobile, hence the new groomer.
Millie was shaking when I brought her home, she certainly did not like that experience one bit, now she won't leave me alone, just wants to be with all the time.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement, it's nice to be talking to genuine pet lovers like ourselves.
we were looking at shows to visit, to see how other dogs are trimmed etc, but as we only found COL this week we have missed two I think, the Noth East show and Rotherham ones I think, oh well more to come.

Wow that is exremem f=grooming but Millie is still a very pretty dog  :luv: We had a simialr experience when my OH took Pepsi to the groomers - needless to say he wasn't allowed to go again  :005: Pepsi didn't have any feathering and looked like a deformed black lab puppy  ph34r It did grow back - evetually. Woody's breeder now grooms both of them.
