oh jenny
jasper is one handsome boy please send him to me,piper said she would love to meet him :luv: :luv: :luv:

Jasper probably will be packing his bags and on his way when he sees me approach with those new scissors! Going to have to lock the door me thinks. :005: Shall not let him read this post in case he seeks out new home...

And I haven't started on Louie yet....

re. the ears...

Yup, I also trim on the underside (around the ear hole) as it allows the air to circulate more freely, and Storm has never had any ear troubles

Also, on Storm I thin a bit behind the ear (at the back on the section that lies near her head and neck). Just to give the ear a bit more shape and help it to lie more flat.  But that is just personal preference, and Jasper looks great as he is.  His coat is gorgeous   :luv:

Started with the coat king and then the thinning scissors against the lie of the hair.  It seemed like it wasn't getting any better for a while but gently snipping away over the course of a couple of days and it started to make a difference.  Jaspers not too bad with top of head but nervous around cheeks but we're getting there.

I feel a bit more confident to do it now and feel that I'm not going to make a complete mess, and if I do I'll just have to get him muddy so no-one will notice!
