Knots between toes
« on: October 16, 2003, 08:27:40 PM »
Help!  I have just discovered Rigsby has some knots of matted fur between some of his toes.  One of them is just protruding above his toes - should I cut these out or just leave them? ???  My books say to leave the hair between toes and pads, but surely the knots could be uncomfortable.

I'm itching to get my scissors out!

Hi Gerry, do You intend to show Rigsby?
If not then I would remove them carefully with the scissors.
If You are hoping to show I would try and brush out the one`s above the toes. You will probably need to remove the one`s between the toes with scissors but remember You want a rounded cat like look. That said comfort of the dog comes first whether you want to show or not ;)
