coat king question...
« on: March 19, 2008, 01:25:52 PM »
Hi, we clipped Jasper a little while ago and his coat has finally come back :D but he's always had a thick coat and on his back it doesn't look very smooth its kind of wavy, I want him to have the show look and was thinking about getting a coat king (just from local petshop or pets at home for now) but wondered what sort of finish the coat king gives as i've never used one before and which type should I go for, would I go for a fine one and how many teeth etc?

We always said we would never get the clippers out or a coat king but his coat is so thick, we gave in  >:(

Thanks

(If you do have any pics before and after using the coat king can you put them on).

I know Jesse is an American Cocker, but his back is "coat king'd". I love it and it saves a lot of time.

And here's a picture of him 6 months old before using the coat king - quite a big difference

It's a tool that strips the undercoat out and saves a lot of time on hand stripping.  :D
