Tummy Feathering/skirt

Paisley is 4 months now, she has increasingly fluffy legs but doesn't seem to have grown any hair on her tummy yet....not enough for it to hang down anyway, she has a little on her chest but not much really!  I was just wondering at what age does the tummy feathering usually appear?!  I'd be happy for it to stay nice and short though!  Helps with keeping clean on wet walks!

Usually the nice length comes from the adult coat, which usually changes over from puppy to adult coat around 9 months old (give or take)

Some dogs just don't grow a lot of belly coat , and some grow tons, some in between, so it's luck of the genetic draw as to how much you get
