hi everyone  :D as some of you know, melody is very much my hairy monster, and very much work still in progress  :005: .
i just wanted to post a pic of melody  :luv:, just to see if i'm on the right track with my hand stripping .( as i'm very much self taught  :o).
its taken me nearly 2 hours just to do her head, and she was an absolute angel. i have only managed her head, fingers have now gone into cramp  :005:. still have the rest of her body to do, but think it will be very much done in stages.
but just wanted your feedback to see if i'm doing ok.

im no expert and like you self taught but i think youv made a grand job of her head, very smooth.

Does she always look so pi**ed off :005:

Oh wow how good a job have you done! Just goes to show what you can do if you put your mind to it! And yes her feet look great too!  :D

I was going to comment on her legs and feet too, also her head looks lovely and smooth, much better than before. Well done  :shades:

Well done you.  :shades: Was she ok Terri whilst you did it? The little bit I did of Alfies head required a salmon kong as distraction.  :005: I think I needed valium I was and still am that nervous of cocking it up.  ph34r :005: I have no excuses distractions now so I must carry on with it.

oh wow, just back form walking my doggies, and i have loads of replies  :luv:
thank you for being so kind, and letting me know you think i've done a good job,this is my 1st attempt at hand stripping. all my other dogs are clippered,and i was so nervous at making a mistake. thank you for all your lovley replies.

and for louis mum  :D , patsy it's it ? , melody was an angel, she just sits there, bless her, inbetween trying to lick you death  :005:. and a few fish4dogs little star training treats, she did well. just have the rest of her body to do, but will be doing it in stages.i'm quite chuffed with what i have done so far, for a complete novice, clippering is a doodle been doing that for over 9 years.but will look forward to seeing the beautiful alfie, and your progress too.

for you others who are thinking of joining the queue , i think i still have my work cut out with melodys coat, so you may have quite a wait  :005:.

not sure i agree she looks pi**ed off , thats the way melody looks most of the time  :005:...never seen a dog smile at the camera before :005:
