Stick with handstripping then you can keep your options open. Alfie seemed quite tall, i thought, at that age, but they steady out and slow down. Fingers crossed for you.  ;)

Also, do they measure dogs at shows or just guess? I know this should be in showing but it's only a small question.  ph34r

They do not measure cockers in the show ring. Some judges like their dogs big, as long as he isn't a giant, and he is square eg neck to root of tail = hight to shoulder he should be ok
