Grrrrrrrr So Angry - Update it ain't all bad

Sorry I need to rant 
Eric has been to the groomers and I told her to do what she could but to leave his ears alone and to leave some skirt and feathers on his legs. She has scalped him and taken off his ears completely, all of his skirt and has left his feathers about 1cm long  His ears were only just recovering after having to come off the last time he went because they had got matted. He doesn't even look like a cocker now i am so upset  I will not be taking him there again. I know it's only hair and it will grow back but i am so mad and upset

Poor you, and I hope Eric isn't too embarrassed when out and about. Could be a bit chilly round the ears. It annoys me when people we are paying do not do what we ask.

I'm sure Eric looks lovely although he's probably going to freeze in this lovely Cumbrian weather!!

Yep, same groomers. I'm too soft because I really like the woman so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and this time told her exactly what I wanted and he still got a number 1 all over

Nearly as bad as when we hoomans go for a haircut with definate ideas of what we want, but the hairdresser think they know better

Not sure we should pay someone who cannot do what WE want, are you? what happened to the customer is always right aye

   I really sympathise with you, this happened to Flo a few weeks ago, she looks very similar to Eric but her leg feathering is longer ( which makes it look even sillier)  and her ears have not been chopped

i like them quite short but that is very short , im afraid i would have said  you have just lost a customer as you didnt listen to what i asked for, maybe shes not very good and just does the old fashioned shear them off type of cut, the first lady we took kiz to when we had her years ago did that type of cut, it is annoying but at least you know it will grow back, pity it wasnt summer he would be lovely and cool   , look on the bright side no grooming for months

He is still beautiful though and it WILL grow back.  Doesn't it make you sick, esp when you pay as well?   Rest assured though, he is still a stunning big boy - AND the positives are: it'll be easier to keep the house clean, esp in this weather
I've never found a groomer do as I wish, once over the initial shock, you sort of get used to it!  It will grow back, very soon - but I agree, he is defo scalped, no debate about it!

At least you can see all his lovely markings  he reminds me of when he was a lickle puppy but those are months i would rather forget

Oh my doG   He's still a lovely boy but that is a definite hatchet job   I hope it grows back quickly and he doesn't get too chilly!
