Andis 2 speed clippers
« on: November 30, 2009, 09:27:27 PM »
I am just about to buy these clippers and I know a lot of you have the same.

Do you have the cordless ones or the wired ones (sorry don't know how to describe what I mean but I am sure you will know).

Am undecided whether it would be better to spend more money on the cordless ones.  At the moment I have cordless Wahl ones, but to be honest I don't find the power very good when I use them cordless, so usually don't.

Would appreciate what you think.

Thanks.

Mine have a cord and are brilliant and I use them all the time. I did have some cordless Oster ones, but really didn't find them as good and was forever recharging them. I have had Wahl as well, but really in my personal opinion these were the worst. My 2 speed Andis are fantastic and I highly recommend them.  :D

I have super 2 speed (red)and 2 speed (black)and I like them both but I'm sick to death of getting tied up in the cords and wrapping them round the grooming table so if I had my choice again I'd probably be tempted to go for the cordless one. I also have a laube one that is dual function with variable speed and I really like that although I much prefer the feel of the andis in my hand.

Another Andis 2 speed fan here  :D  I have the one's with the cord, and don't have any probs with the cable as it is extremely long.  ;)

Thank you everyone.  I have decided to go for the Andis ones with the cord.  The only time I used the Wahl ones cordless was to do under her armpits whilst she lay on her back on the bed and I will keep those to carry on doing that.

Thanks again.

Thanks Michelle and everyone.

Feeling much more confident now about getting them.  In fact, can't wait to get them so I can (hopefully) make Ellie look very smart when she goes to my sister-in-laws for her Christmas dinner.
