Murphy's always looked very chunky. But it's a 6 weeks until his next show and he keeps getting mats despite being brushed every day so I decided to be a bit brutal and cut his hair! I've started with his back legs and they look so much better. I didn't realised that a lot of the 'cocker look' is due to trimming. I've just never been brave enough! Someone showed me once but I still wasn't brave enough! So I've now discovered that my cocker with very large legs just had a huge covering of hair!!!
Also he's still got a bit of a quiff, I'm not sure when that'll come out but he's still not a year so there's plenty of time yet.
