I recently bought the Bio Groom detangler spray - sorry forgot the name. Works ok but was using on a dry coat and it said use on wet, which I will do next bath. But inbetween times, he slobbers quite alot now. The first reason being he needs the lip fold surgery as they are terribly droopy, (can't be helped), and the second being the medicine he has stimulates the saliva glands. Thus front paws and especially the right ear though the left suffers too. It quickly gets matted and gunky. I've tried jugging but he gets so fed up with this and bites and wriggles.
I also can only bathe him once every 4 weeks due to the Advocate wormer. I've been advised not to immerse him in water or shampoo him during that time.
Is there are good "dry" shampoo and who makes it please? Also, I have the Groomers Aromatherapy spray which is ok, and I hate the smell of the Bio Groom detangler, (jasmine), are there any nice woodsy/earthy type scents? I love the scent of patchouli so anything similar would be great.
