no she doesn't wear a harness.
I must admit reading the replies I am seriously considering taking her to a groomer - she doesn't need a proper trip yet, I thought maybe a bath and brush up sort of thing would help get her used to going anyway... Seems a bit of the cowards way out, but I'm aware she is a bit highly strung (well that is what the dog trainer thinks!) and leaving it till she really needs sorting out might be a bit traumatic for her!
