Am afraid you're pic isn't working! Did you copy and paste the IMG code from Photobucket or similar site?

Oh... I see it now! It looks a bit scary but glad it's effective for those annoying matts.

This is the Mikki matt breaker I use - it's a Godsend for busting the matts. I got it on eBay too for a fraction of the £15.99 it sells at in Pets at Home.

It looks like the one I have is the same brand as yours with the red paws on it.

Yep it is, have just checked the red paws on mine - that's the Mikki range. I have a peg basket full of grooming tools for Alfie but the ones I use 98% of the time are the matt breaker and the Mikki Easy-cleanslicker. It's great when you find ones that are effective.

I've got a similar matt breaker to Siam  :shades:  they are really good too.....as long as they are used gently whilst you support the root of the hair to avoid hurting or pulling too much.  :shades:

Yes, we use the matt breaker on Megan.  It does work wonders for thinning as well as dematting.

bought ours at PAH.

I have found it to be kinder on the dog to use one blade from a good pair of quality scissors to slice through the mat (from the skin outwards) then tease the mat apart.
