Misha, Roly & Lexi are clipped. I've let her coat grow out this winter (just in case we had a big freeze like last year) and she looks a bit like a poodle and I am desperate to clip her (most likely this coming weekend). What I would advise is don't clip the ears, not even part way down as some groomers will do. Wherever you clip will curl
much much more, I don't clip their ears at all and they have all remained relatively smooth - they are quite full and I do trim the length and thin with thinning scissors. Any bits that seem to stay smooth I leave.
