Breed specific grooming course at Hadlow College, Kent
« on: January 27, 2012, 11:39:24 AM »
Hi

I have finally got some answers out of the college for this course.
they have reduced the cost to £40.00 for the day course, and are advertising three different days on the website.
they have confirmed you take your own dog, and agree on how you want them to look, you will then be taught how to groom to your requirements.
they suggested taking a camera and notebook for before and after photos, and comments, but apart from that, nothing else is needed.
just wondered if anyone would be interested,
I am just waiting for it to be bought for me as a birthday present!

I'm booked on already. 26th June. I need to look up if they will cover handstripping though and if I can take both dogs   Really looking forward to it.

totally unrelated but that would be a great present (I want to find myself one locally :))

I searched for a course locally and it brought up this course (it's quite local at 325 miles away!)
My beautiful little boy Charlie :)

Fair point! Will double check, but thought I'd focus on Darcey but get some advice on Bingley. Think their coats are v diff.

I am gutted it cost me £120 in July 2010  >:D It was an excellent course though and gave me a good grounding in the basics. I took Ebony who was a real fluff monster and they taught me to handstrip, but it was an all day job!!

This is the thread I post after I'd been on it.

now this one has come up, I am having it as a birthday present, but on the proviso I 'have a go' at Jack, my sisters working cocker! :D

so paid for and practice dog to go with it!! :D

Took a week or 2 I think. They called and I paid by credit card over the phone. Are you doing the same day as me?

Your pics look great. Bingley will be 9 months by my course so think I will concentrate on him. Hope he comes out looking 1/2 as good as Ebony  :D

I am trying to get the 2nd July, but I think it may depend on how busy they have been for other bookings?

Paid for mine yesterday, did mention to the lady I was happy to move the day if needed, but she said they were filling up quite well

can't wait, although I am sure Ella is going to need some intervention before July! :D

she looks like a bear now, so i can't leave her all that time!!
