Hi, I just wondered what number coat king you all use and for which parts of the body?

It was the one recommended for Spaniels on their site, Pat.  You are welcome to try Pearly's - let me know I can always bring it with me next meet-up.

Just checked mine and its the 20 blade that is recommended for Spaniels

Got mine from Amazon - original Mars with wooden handle.

I bought the 26 but only found it useful on the back. Just bought a 16 which I find much better for legs and hocks. Was using a 10 on the grooming course which was good or getting through the dense fluff.

I think the 20 can be used all over the body - Norma recommended a pair of rubber gloves for hand stripping Pearl's back and the coat king for legs, bib, ears etc xx
