Rio looks scruffy! Pics added...
« on: August 02, 2012, 09:01:12 PM »
Roxy's coat grows beautifully, I've never cut/clipped or stripped any of it. Rio's on the other hand is coming through at all angles, really fuzzy! I strip it out with my hands quite often but its coming back so quick. Its not a great amount but she looks such a scruffy pup! Her coat under the fuzz is really short apart from on her ears.

Not sure what I'm asking really. Would the rubber band method get it out quicker each time (and if so, what sort of comb is best?). I've contemplated cutting some of the length off her ears before now to even her coat up but I'm worried it'll look a bit too false when I prefer a more natural look?!

Will try and get a photo if I can get her still for long enough!

no expert but believe that if you use thinning scissors as opposed to straight edge you will get a more natural look.

Ah, thats a thought. I just think she looks a bit like a crested with long fur on her ears and tail and no where else!

Nothing against cresties, they're ace but a cocker version not so!
