mad after grooming!
« on: October 12, 2012, 05:44:16 PM »
Does any one else's dog go mad after the groomers? Pepper had a major session yesterday and he was clsoly cropped. he has gone mad today, running everywhere when we went out, terrible re call! and  even eating more. i think he is happy and feeling `freer` rather than totally stressed out from the groomers, although i'm not sure why he is being naughtier!

Yes, mine do it too, like they have a new sense of freedom and go loopy.

My old cocker and springer spaniels used to go crazy when they got home after they were clipped right off at the groomer's - Clover is a little calmer though. But I am sure they feel a lot better (and lighter!) once they have got rid of their thick coats and knotted armpits!  ;)

Yes, same behaviour here! My bridge boy Dickon used to get visibly gloomy if I let his fur grow too long  :005: He would perk up once he had been groomed and run around like an idiot, grabbing all his favourite toys and chucking them around the house.  :luv:

Yes, my wee Jess used to do this, except the first time when she ran and hid under the car! It took her a couple of days to get used to being in her 'undies'!

I'm sure Darwin had an invisible pair of Devil Horns fitted whilst at the Groomers on Monday.  >:D  He normally has more energy had bounce, so we call him a baby springer after he's been groomed, but this time he's turned into an absolute monster   >:D
