Title: At Rainbow Bridge
Post by: honeysmun on January 29, 2011, 02:08:51 PM
I was broken hearted to see on DogLost today, that lovely lost cocker Lola lost on the 26 Dec is now at The Bridge, :'(
she was found by a local gamekeeper, and she still had her lead on which had become tangled around some branches and she was unable to wriggle free, although the lead was not tight around her neck, it was unclear how long she had been there, and it's is believed that she starved to death. :'( :'(
My thoughts are with her devastated owners today.
have fun at the Bridge sweetheart. :luv: :luv:

So very sad and tragic, for Lola and her owners.  The poor little girl must have been out there in all that cold weather.  I don't know how you get over something like this happening.

Can I ask something if it is not out of place....can dogs get hypothermia? I was talking about this poor wee lass with my OH and was just saying I would find it slightly more comforting to think her end came about quicker due to the cold than the lack of food and water but I am unsure wether dogs can get THAT cold.
