Thank you letter from Medical Detection Dogs ;):

I would like to thank you and everyone at ‘Cockers Online’ very much for the generous donation of £150.00. It is a most valued contribution for which we are truly grateful. I understand it was raised from a photo competition, I trust it was a fun and entertaining exercise. Your support is greatly appreciated and without people such as yourself we would not continue to progress and grow.
Your support will help us to continue our ground-breaking charitable work which includes investigating the potential of dogs to assist medics in the early detection and diagnosis of cancer and other human diseases. Our work also includes the training and placement of specialist Medical Assistance dogs that alert their clients prior to a medical emergency allowing them to lead a more normal life with increased independence and confidence.
Since we began in 2008 we have managed to train and place 35 Medical Assistance Dogs, our aim is place another 12 such dogs in 2013.
As you can imagine, there is a great deal of demand and interest in the work that we do. In addition we are experiencing a high level of media interest with frequent visits from television teams, newspapers and magazines thus increasing dramatically the number of people seeking our medical alert dogs. To see some of the massive publicity our charity has attracted please visit our website.
Once again, thank you very much for your kind donation and support, it is most appreciated

Yours sincerely,

Dr Claire Guest
Chief Executive and Operations Director

And we've had a big thank you from Norbert's Fund. :shades:
