Stolen cockers
« on: October 24, 2020, 08:28:33 PM »
Hi all.
My cousin shared something on Facebook (I don’t have fb but it’s on Dublin live or fb Gerry Stacey- the new surbiton neighbourhood group).

There was a van load of stolen dogs found in Ireland- possibly from the uk. Don’t know about the others but there is a golden/red female cocker that has not been claimed. She’s got a white patch on her head and a paler  nose. She looks like she’s really missing her family. Please share in case anyone on here knows of anyone who’s lost one.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for her.

I saw the post on social media, horrendous how many dogs are being stolen just now, spaniels are so popular sadly.  I do hope they can get this wee soul back to where she belongs, she does look really sad.

No- it wasn’t that.
Sorry- I’m a bit technophobic and don’t have Facebook but if you google ‘Gerry Stacey the new surbiton neighbourhood group’ it comes up with the photo of the dog I described.
God I can’t imagine having your dog stolen. It should be akin to kidnap surely!

Absolutely agree with you Digger,  while googling it to try and find the original post I‘d read, I was horrified to realize the current scale of dog theft, its horrendous!!!! I think we just have to be extra vigilant and of course make sure the microchip details are up to date, unfortunately human suffering doesn‘t even seem to evoke a lot of sympathy with the powers that be these days, what chance do our poor animals have?

Thanks people. Don't think the darling is my friends but hers are out there somewhere. One red/gold and a tiny tri colour
