Evening Everyone.

What a terrific board!

I get to indulge myself by looking at pictures of everyone elses pride and Joy's and also somewhere to sort out any problems.

My name is Sapphire and I have an orange Roan called Harvey, who is now nearly 16 weeks old. I live in a small village in the country which has a multitude of Springer Spaniels, but only one orange roan cocker. Harvey is a local celebrity here, and boy does he like the limelight.

He loves the children, but we did have a small problem with him bossing my young son around. This was alleviated by training three year old Jack and also ensuring that all meals came courtesy of said brat. I wish I could put a picture up here, but sadly my USB is not working and therefore I cannot download from the camera. Naturally, I am convinced that my dog is the best looking cocker ever to have existed as I am sure you are the same of yours.

Hey ya' I'm new too.  I think I'm a bit newer than you however because I have no idea what "Roan" means. ( Still working on all the terms.)  I must say though, my Kody is actually the most beautiful thing on four legs. I will be posting my pics this afternoon to prove it:)   Having said that I have seen some awfully pretty sweeties on this site.   We all must have the best of the best.

Having said which, I have noticed that cockers are a little like tatoos.....so difficult to stop at one!




Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome here, I know they say that dogs take after their owners, but the general level of friendliness here proves to me that perhaps, when it comes to cockers, owner and dog were already alike and it is more a meeting of kindred spirits, mischievous, funny and great company.

  :lol: Just to let you know that it is me that has the most beautiful/ best looking/chocolate/liver(?)and white/ working cocker spaniel/ that is aged 6 and a half years/ and called Fern on this site. ::) (phew) Don't think I can have put anyone's nose out of joint with that statement . ;) (could I?)
