Is the inflamed lipfold condition the same as pyoderma?

Reply from my mum :-

Thank you for your suggestions. Mollie is 7 and has had the lip fold problem about 18 months; I had an earlier cocker with the same problem. Currently, I use MALASEB shampoo (from the vet) twice a week (is HIBISCRUB a shampoo ?), in between treatments bathe them with tea tree lotion (someone suggested BORASSIC ACID - also an antiseptic) and have been prescribed SYNOLUX tablets periodically. At the moment I feel I am keeping on top of the problem, but not curing it.

When Neneh was travel sick as a puppy I tried Travella which is a herbal remedey available from Holland & Barratt and the likes. They do have to be given sometime before the journey but can be given enroute too if the journey is a long one. I tried various other things for her but these worked the best.
Might be worth a try :D
