Mike is rite don`t be tempted to change food just yet. Your puppy will have enough to deal with what with moving home without changing his diet as well :)
Most complete foods do look dull and boring that`s just the way they are, although they look dull to us they are nutritionally balanced and contain everything your puppy needs :)
Never give a dog cooked bones of any sort, they are dangerous. They can splinter and cause problems internally.
You could give your puppy a raw chicken wing to chew on, most dogs love them. Don`t leave a young puppy unattended with one in case they get a bit greedy and try to swallow it whole :o

 :D Bet you are excited and can't wait to get Coco!  My cockers love those Nylabones which are available in various flavours and last ages but are safe.  ;)
I too would not recommend you mess around with his diet too much, providing he is doing OK on what he is currently being fed.  When you start changing about they can start to become finicky! ???
